Laura Tangusso layers and sculpts forms as well as works in drawing, collage and printmaking. She has also worked in clay, photography, drawing, and printmaking. Awards include grants from the New England Foundation for the Arts, Mass Cultural Council, Artists Resource Trust Fund, The Philanthropic Initiative, and the Chicago Arts Council. Laura has been artist-in-residence at the Banff Centre for the Arts and the Blue Mountain Center. Her work has been shown in various exhibitions, including in the New England region the University Gallery at UMass/Dartmouth and UMass/Amherst, The Fitchburg Museum, the New Art Center, The Museum Complex at Duxbury and the DeCordova. She currently teaches paper and book arts in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
